Do you remember to be creative when recruiting?

Autistic workers find errors
There certainly were when Danish company Specialisterne was looking for staff to perform quality assurance of a high standard for other companies.
The company recruited autistic people to carry out this work. This has meant that a group of people who have traditionally struggled in the labour market have not only found employment – they have also been able to use their special skills to create a commercial success.
Diversity generates new ideas
There are many reasons why diversity in the workplace is important for innovation.
For example, it is advantageous to have a broad range of skills to draw on internally within the company when new ideas are brought to the table.
Customer service in Turkish and Arabic
Could you use the different skills within your company to develop new solutions? Could, for example, Danish health care providers better meet the needs of immigrants – could there be a need for new solutions?
Mobile phone operator TDC Mobile, for example, also offers customer service in Turkish and Arabic. This allows a large customer group to have technical problems explained in their mother tongue.
In doing so, TDC Mobile is not only taking social responsibility but also building loyalty among a large customer group.
